Catherine is originally from Australia and has several years of teaching experience. She has a Graduate Diploma in Education (Major in English, Minor in Humanities) from Edith Cowan university and a Bachelor of Arts from St. Mary University, Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Catherine was drawn to OWIS' values of kindness and being One with the world. She believes every child is unique and should be given a chance to be understood - once they feel understood, children will bloom and display their talents in various ways.

Catherine loves trying different cuisines from around the world and enjoys traveling.
