For the second year in a row, One World International School has received three HoneyKids Awards. These awards are given to the best international schools in Singapore, recognising them for their commitment to academic excellence and holistic development.
In the Cambridge IGCSE examinations (2022), 97% of a cohort of 36 students scored A* - C grades. In the IB DP exams for 2022, our students scored 34 points on average, with 25% of our students achieving 43-38 grade points.
New school leaders have been appointed for Teaching and Learning and Pastoral Care to look after the different age-appropriate requirements of Early Childhood, Primary School and Secondary School. Dr Tracy Ghomashchian has been brought in as the Head of Secondary and Mr Karel van der Linden has been promoted to the Head of EC and Primary.
These new developments in our Secondary School are in keeping with our future-focussed, student-centric education approach.
Both our Suntec and Nanyang campuses received "Highly Commended" mentions in two different categories in the awards.
In April 2022, our Head of School, Mark Renie participated in an online panel discussion organised by the South China Morning Post (SCMP). Themed ‘SCMP Conversations: Education’, the virtual panel discussion sought to inform parents in Hong Kong about the international school landscape in Singapore.

One World International School has announced plans to launch a brand new digital campus in Singapore amid high demand. This 3rd campus for OWIS in Singapore, which offers the International Baccalaureate curriculum, has enrolment capacity of 1500 students from Preschool to Grade 12, and will commence classes from 2023.
Olympic Gold medallist Joseph Schooling had a meaningful interaction with students of One World International School at its first-ever Leadership Symposium, organised virtually by the school on 17th December 2020.
At One World International School, we are excited to be launching a Chinese-English bilingual programme from January 2021 for our primary school students. This high-quality programme will emphasise the importance of a bilingual, bi-literate and bicultural education and is meant for students from Grade 1 to 5 (aged 6 to 11).
We’ve debuted the latest addition to the OWIS family – the East Coast campus! Located at Mountbatten Road, OWIS East Coast focuses on our Early Childhood Learning programme for children aged three to six. The campus can house up to 160 students, with the student-teacher ratio being 9:1 for every class. We have been authorised to offer the International Baccalaureate® Diploma Programme (IB DP) to our students Grade 11 for the 2019 - 2020 academic year at our Nanyang campus.
With kindness being at the heart of OWIS, we celebrated World Kindness Day in a big way – we created Singapore’s largest felt heart, which was recorded in the Singapore Book of Records, a non-profit organisation which compiles records on a national level.
