October 6, 2021 - One World International School has won recognition in several categories at the inaugural HoneyKids Singapore Education Awards 2021. We have been awarded with a Gold in the following categories:

  • Most Affordable International School
  • Student Wellbeing Award
  • Diversity and Inclusive Community Award

The inaugural awards celebrated the outstanding achievements, efforts and contributions of Singapore’s best international schools, based on the assessments of a panel of expert judges.

The Most Affordable International School award was bestowed on OWIS for our recognised IB and IGCSE curricula with opportunities for students to succeed and thrive. The Student Wellbeing Award confirms that our caring teachers and staff ensure that all aspects of student wellbeing are met, such as mental, physical and emotional health, safety, and a sense of purpose.

Our Gold in the Diversity and Inclusive Community Award category acknowledges our commitment to be inclusive of students from different communities and backgrounds, and that our effective learning paths implemented by experienced educators bring out the best in learners.

For OWIS, these awards recognise the immense contributions of our academic team and staff and the support of our school families. Mrs. Michelle Dickinson, Head of School, said about the wins: "We are delighted to receive these awards. They recognise our core values here at OWIS as an inclusive international school that celebrates and nurtures our community's diversity through high-quality and affordable education. Student well-being is our key motivator this year through our commitment to outdoor learning to enhance physical, mental and social well-being. We thank HoneyKids and the judges for these awards."
