We are delighted that both our Suntec and Nanyang campuses received honourable mentions in the inaugural Best Schools Awards organised by Which School Advisor, Singapore.
OWIS Suntec earned a “Highly Commended” citation in the Best New School (Opened 2020 - 2021) category. The judges felt it is an affordable school “with a clear aim in a central part of town, good potential for growth, and good indoor facilities.”
Parents recommend the campus on the “personalised approach”, the focus on“learning through play and imagination”, and a “school culture that is one of acceptance and positivity”.
At the same awards, OWIS Nanyang earned a “Highly Commended” citation in the category of Best School with Fees Below $ 25,000.
Judges said the school deserved a mention for its clear vision to deliver an“accessible education to a diverse range of expat families”, a more“affordable” IB option, the choice of a bilingual programme, and good indoor facilities.
Parent feedback received for the judging process focused on the school’s“kindness-led” culture and “warm-hearted environment”, with one parent saying that OWIS offers “a good balance of student nationalities, affordable school fees and an international curriculum”.
Commenting on this recognition, Mr. Mark Renie, Head of School, One WorldInternational School, said, “We’re really happy to be recognised by WhichSchool Advisor for both our campuses. We’re very proud that OWIS Suntec has been acknowledged as being one of the best new schools in Singapore. It tells us that we’re on the right track for OWIS Suntec. We’re building a wonderful community there, which values innovation and a kind and compassionate learning environment. For our established campus, OWIS Nanyang, this commendation shows that our approach to education and values is resonating with our community and with other families in Singapore.”
