Teacher Assistant

 
OVERALL REPONSIBILITIES
Includes the below but not limited to –
 
  • Work with groups of students under the teacher’s direct supervision.
  • Supervising the playing of educational games.
  • Work with students who have varying degrees of learning support needs.
  • Ensure that students adhere to the school’s behaviour policy
  • Prepare work and activities in accordance with the objectives set by the teacher.
  • Assist the teacher in helping with the student’s physical needs, whilst also encouraging independence.
  • Give feedback to teachers on student’s progress
  • Any other duties as requested by the Head of School.
 
Requirements:
  • Be a passionate educator with the ability to deliver inquiry based learning.
  • Prior experience in a classroom environment preferred.
 

Relief Teacher (Primary & Secondary)

OVERALL REPONSIBILITIES
Includes the below but not limited to –

  • Responsible for teaching the stipulated subject to students from Early Childhood to Grade 5 (PYP), Grades 6 to 10 (IGCSE) and IB Diploma.
  • Experience in teaching learners with diverse needs.
  • Present lessons in line with curriculum objectives that cater to the needs of the whole ability range within the class.
  • Take up extra-curricular activities. Be a part of school events, assemblies, staff trainings, meetings etc.
  • Promote the health and safety of assigned classes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 (two) years or more relevant full-time teaching experience as a qualified teacher. (Qualified teacher status is a must)
  • Be a passionate educator with the ability to deliver inquiry based learning.
  • Familiar with the PYP, IGCSE and IB Diploma curriculum.
  • Experience in an international school environment (preferred)

Mandarin Teacher

OVERALL REPONSIBILITIES
Includes the below but not limited to –

  • To teach across the whole age range, including PYP, IGCSE and the IB Diploma
  • Design, prepare and deliver lessons to support and enhance learners’ understanding of the mandarin language.
  • Assess and monitor the progress of learners and set goals for improvement, including writing student reports and attending parents meetings.
  • Take up extra-curricular activities. Be a part of school events, assemblies, staff trainings, meetings etc.
  • Promote the health and safety of assigned classes

Transport Liaison Officer [Immediate]

OVERALL REPONSIBILITIES
Includes the below but not limited to –

  • Responsible for vendor development, selection of transporters & other service providers.
  • Vendor evaluation & proactive improvement plans to increase efficiencies.
  • Responsible for preparing reports of the vehicles daily.
  • Explaining company norms to the transportation company.
  • To send reports of the day to day updates and requirements of the transportation to the reporting manager.
  • Responsible to co-ordinate with transportation company.
  • Continuous tracing all the vehicles and the drivers and to prepare proper report on this.
  • Maintaining safety protocols strictly.
  • Evaluates routes for the purpose of determining bus routes in conformance with school policies while complying with mandated guidelines.
  • Recommends route additions and changes (e.g. finds new development and map information, etc.) for the purpose of keeping routes and data up-to-date.
  • Responds to inquiries from students, parents, and staff for the purpose of providing the necessary information regarding busing issues.
  • Reviews field trip requests for the purpose of arranging transportation and maintaining proper billing.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience of around two years,
  • Recognised related qualification,
  • Good team handling skills,
  • An excellent level of spoken and written English.
