OWIS recognised for its quality of education by the Singaporean regulators

We have been awarded a 4-year EduTrust certificate! Administered by the Committee for Private Education (CPE), a statutory board which regulates, develops and raises quality standards in the private education sector in Singapore.

The EduTrust Certification EduTrust is a voluntary certification scheme for private education institutions (PEIs) in Singapore. A private education institution is awarded EduTrust certification if it has achieved the stipulated standards in the areas of school management, provision of educational services and good financial health.

OWIS was awarded a 4-year certification on our first application. This is considered very uncommon, due to the stringent criteria set by the CPE to achieve the EduTrust certification.

Valid from 12 February 2020 to 11 February 2024, it is a significant milestone in our journey and recognises our excellent learning outcomes, academic rigour, academic and financial processes, provision of student support services, governance and financial prudence, among other things. It also means that OWIS has a stringent process in place that is strengthened by strong internal controls and continuous improvement.

With this certification, it also means OWIS can now enrol international students who require Student Passes from the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).

In addition, we were particularly commended by the Singapore regulators for our vision, mission, values and culture and how this is embodied by everyone at OWIS.

Once again, we would like to thank the entire OWIS team for making this happen!
